한중 FTA 시대…″농수산 식품 對中 수출 늘린다″
Korea is looking to boost food exports to China， once the Korea－China free trade agreement kicks in later this month.
At the fifth export conference hosted by the nations′ relevant ministries and the Chinese embassy on Thursday， 90 Korean food companies and 33 buyers from China held face－to－face talks.
According to participants， Chinese buyers were highly interested in the Korean firms′ red ginseng， seaweed， vitamins and snacks.
Korea plans to hold regular export conferences with Chinese buyers， in order to meet their rising demand for safe and high－quality food products.
The Korea－China FTA is scheduled to take effect from December 20th.
