0:12i think is somebody who sits here in Silicon Valley the trend that I find
0:16really interesting I think we're in the very early stages of mobile computing
0:20both for how the younger generation uses devices to communicate with each other
0:25how they'll build businesses the communicate with their customers I also
0:28think what we're learning about the human body is nothing short of
0:31spectacular how the brain works how r body reacts to drugs
0:36her body reacts to chemicals in the environment and how it's different an
0:39individual by individual basis some of the stuff that the human species is
0:43coming up with right now is truly spectacular in very exciting what that
0:47will lead to hundreds of businesses the entrepreneurs will show us I am super
0:56excited about what I think are going to be a whole host of next computing
1:01platforms you know it's smart house building it's the smart body so you know
1:07I think the next big thing is really sort of these new frontiers of computing
1:13technology and seeing how they turn into standardized platforms you know it's
1:17hard to imagine how those are going to turn out now but we can clearly see that
1:22there are people going after standardizing each of these categories
1:25and you know we're gonna turn around in 10 years and there will be very clear in
1:30our operating systems for a house in for commercial building in for a car that
1:34are hard to imagine today
1:37I believe one of the next big things that we're going to see is machine as
1:45sister services or products there's been a lot of talk about artificial
1:50intelligence to benefit as well as potential dangers of a fully automated
1:54robots robot that can make their own decisions that's a lively invalid debate
2:00but I believe that before we reached this point are highly intelligent robots
2:06are fully autonomous robot heart or whatever form they take a wait-and-see
2:09actually a much wider spread after machine assistance services where the
2:14machine is not in tithing over task entirely but humans are being assisted
2:21by machine by El reasons why data to make much better decisions to perform at
2:27a much higher level of productivity I'm a busy mom and so for me I would say the
2:37next big thing is anything that saves time so whether that be instant card for
2:44example shopping Express to go shopping Express came to my town and it was free
2:50and I remember thinking at some point this is not going to be free and they're
2:54gonna charge me too
2:56for this service and I thought I'm not going to fall for it and then six months
3:00down the road they sent me an email said your free account is over $100 for the
3:06year and I was so addicted to Google Shopping Express that I happily pay $100
3:12because now I need my toilet paper in four hours you know I perceive idea and
3:18then all of us and for hours and I am so delighted by that so for me that's what
3:24I would say everything that saves me time I you know I'm willing to pay for
3:28and I think that as people see the value that chances are they might be willing
3:34to pay as well
3:36what we're seeing now the automobiles now being opened up is like a workplace
3:45so there's been a lot of very large companies being bill to go after the
3:51home market to go after the workplace market but think about how many hours
3:56are spent in a car and the opportunity to address consumer issues or problems
4:01or opportunities in that car and that's just a great area that we're seeing a
4:07lot of activity because of the cars now opened up for a number of companies to
4:12offer their product
4:19the best ideas in terms of changing the world are ones that people don't
4:25actually know they want until after they see them until after they see the idea a
4:30simple example is over who would decide to go build another taxi service and it
4:35just doesn't sound like a smart idea to do yet they came up with a completely
4:39new model is that a company's technology enable company became a completely new
4:44Milan in a way to disrupt the Ministry of it until you saw you can really think
4:48about it and that's like wow that's a great idea so we don't know where the
4:54next great I will say this we live in a you know Silicon Valley I think of it as
5:01the Florence of the 21st century the five-hole innovation and change the
5:05world
5:06the underlying technology continues to to to to give to the community IC you
5:16know fifty years behind us and I see at least 50 years in front of us of
5:21increasingly capable technology which entrepreneurs are going to look at and
5:27have a vision
5:29that no one else has and be able to change the world in ways that we don't
5:32understand
