Wolfgang Proissl is the Frankfurt Bureau Chief for Financial Times Deutschland (FTD). Previously he was Brussels Bureau Chief of the FTD, Foreign Editor of the FTD and European Editor of Die Zeit. In 2010, he was a visiting fellow at Bruegel, the Brussels-based European and international economics think tank, where he authored a monograph, Why Germany fell out of love with Europe. Before taking up his current position in January 2011, he spent time as a World Fellow at Yale University.
