Disruptive Innovation Knocks on Education's Door - Michael Horn, Executive Director of the Education Program, Clayton Christensen Institute
The idea of disruptive innovation is making waves in the 21c.
It's a theory proposed by Clayton Christensen, Harvard business professor and the 'Einstein of Economics.' It has helped advance technology and enriched lives. Professor Chistensen also founded the Clayton Chistensen Institute as nonprofit think tank to find innovative ways to address social issues in education and healthcare.
Michael Horn is a cofounder and the executive director of the Institute's educational programs. His research focuses on disruptive innovation and education. In 2014, he was awarded the Eisenhower Fellowship and chose to research education systems in Korea and Vietnam. He came to Korea in March and visited schools across the country to learn about Korean culture and education up close.
