"Digital Disasters -- How new technologies are transforming humanitarian aid for the better"
Paul assumed his current function as head of Media and Public Communication with the
IFRC in Geneva in August 2008. He oversees all aspects of public communication including audio visual production, advocacy initiatives, and online and social media. He has a BA degree in Communications and a Masters degree in International Development and Cooperation and holds a Post-Graduate certificate in Advanced Studies in International Humanitarian Law.
About TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is call TEDxGeneva, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxGeneva event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
