Korea′s leading conglomerate, Samsung, has been declared the second-most valuable brand in the world.
Data by U.K.-based market research firm Brand Finance on Thursday put the estimated value of the Samsung brand at 81-point-7 billion dollars.
This is a 4 percent jump from last year.
The top dog at the moment is Apple, whose brand value was estimated at 128-point-3 billion.
The market research firm calculates a brand′s value... based on a company′s financial health and the brand loyalty of consumers.
Samsung was followed by Google and Microsoft, estimated at 76-point-6 billion dollars and 67 billion.
